Job Summary:

Universal Microfinance is seeking a proactive and results-driven Loan Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential loan applicants, conducting credit risk assessments, promoting loan products, and managing customer relationships. The role requires strong sales and customer service skills, with a focus on ensuring timely loan repayment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Loan Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Your core responsibilities include:

  1. Generate Sales Leads:
    • Identify potential loan applicants and generate leads by actively marketing and promoting loan products. This will involve interacting with individuals and businesses in the community to attract clients to Universal Microfinance.
  2. Credit Risk Assessment:
    • Conduct thorough credit assessments to evaluate clients’ financial health and their ability to repay loans. This includes reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documentation.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the loan process and committed to repaying their loans. Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs and offer support.
  4. Loan Repayment Monitoring:
    • Ensure that clients adhere to their loan repayment schedules by monitoring payments and following up with clients if necessary. Provide guidance to clients on how to manage their loan repayments effectively.
  5. Marketing and Promotion:
    • Actively promote Universal Microfinance’s loan products and services through various channels, including face-to-face interactions, social media, and community outreach programs. The goal is to expand the company’s client base and increase loan sales.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: HND from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Experience Level: Entry level, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role (loan sales, customer service, or financial services).
  • Experience Length: 1-2 years of relevant experience in loan processing, credit risk assessment, or sales.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license is an added advantage, as the role may require traveling to meet clients and generate sales leads.

Preferred Skills:

  • Sales and Marketing Skills: Strong ability to market financial products and generate leads through effective sales techniques.
  • Credit Risk Analysis: Experience or knowledge in assessing credit risk and evaluating clients’ ability to repay loans.
  • Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple client accounts and ensure timely follow-ups on loan applications and repayments.
  • Proactive and Goal-Oriented: A self-starter who is motivated to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing client information and managing loan processes.
