Primary Responsibilities
1. Overseeing Cashier Operations
- Supervise day-to-day activities of CIT and Sitting Cashiers, enforcing security protocols and precise cash handling procedures.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure the team achieves high standards of efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide training on cash handling best practices and procedures aligned with company standards.
2. Cash Handling and Reconciliation
- Manage the secure counting, recording, and reconciling of cash for transactions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all cash transactions to support accurate financial tracking.
- Address any discrepancies or irregularities, and implement effective corrective measures.
- Oversee cash deposits, ensuring they are transferred securely to designated banks or vaults on schedule.
3. Security and Compliance
- Enforce all security protocols and internal controls to ensure the integrity of cash handling operations.
- Protect the office environment by securing both employees and company assets.
- Ensure the correct usage of safes, surveillance systems, and protocols, especially for high-value transactions.
- Perform regular audits to identify any security risks and to verify compliance with company policies.
4. Customer and Client Interaction
- Act as the main point of contact for clients on cash-related issues, ensuring all concerns are handled promptly.
- Deliver reliable, efficient service to maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage client inquiries with professionalism, offering clear and prompt solutions.
5. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare regular cash transaction reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly overviews.
- Keep detailed, up-to-date records of all cash flows, ensuring accuracy in receipts, payments, and reconciliations.
- Report any irregularities or potential security issues directly to management.
6. Team Coordination and Training
- Coordinate with the CIT team for secure pickups and deliveries.
- Organize ongoing training for cashiers to reinforce compliance with security and cash management standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback to encourage team growth.
7. Auditing and Compliance Oversight
- Conduct routine spot checks and internal audits to verify cash counts and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal finance and audit teams to ensure effective internal controls.

Qualifications and Required Skills
Education:
- Diploma or degree in fields like Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar area.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in cashiering or supervision roles, with a proven track record in secure cash handling.
- Experience within the security or financial services sectors is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills for effectively managing both CIT and Sitting Cashiers.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in cash reconciliation and documentation.
