Job Summary:

Kab-Fam Ghana Limited, a reputable retail company, is seeking a motivated and personable Customer Service Executive (Female) to join its dynamic team. This role is essential to the daily operations of the showroom, where you will be the first point of contact for customers. You will perform customer service functions, assist clients with product selections, and complete sales transactions. Your primary goal is to ensure a positive customer experience while contributing to the overall sales targets of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:
    • Welcome and greet customers as they enter the showroom, offering them assistance with a warm and professional demeanor.
    • Direct customers by escorting them to product racks, counters, and other relevant sections, ensuring they find what they need easily.
    • Offer tailored product suggestions to customers, providing information on product features, benefits, and usage.
  2. Sales Support:
    • Help customers make purchasing decisions by building their confidence in the products and providing informed suggestions and opinions based on their needs.
    • Process sales transactions accurately by totaling purchases and handling payments via checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
    • Maintain and update customer profile records to ensure accurate documentation of all sales and client interactions.
  3. Customer Communication:
    • Keep clientele informed of upcoming sales, new merchandise, and promotions that may be of interest to them, helping build long-term relationships.
    • Follow up with customers, providing updates on their purchases, deliveries, or any queries they may have.
  4. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other team members to ensure the showroom operates smoothly, accomplishing related tasks as needed.
    • Provide feedback to the Retail Manager on customer preferences, potential sales opportunities, and ways to improve customer service and sales efforts.
  5. Additional Responsibilities:
    • Take on other duties as determined by the Retail Manager, contributing to the overall success and growth of the showroom.

Job Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:
    Minimum of a Degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or communications is required.
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, or sales is required, preferably within the retail, fashion, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage and converse with customers in a friendly, clear, and professional manner.
    • Sales Ability: Confidence in offering suggestions and encouraging customers to make purchases.
    • Organizational Skills: Able to maintain accurate customer records and ensure smooth payment processing.
    • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
    • Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.

Salary:

The salary for this position ranges from GHS 2,400 to GHS 3,000, depending on experience and performance.
