Job Overview:

PRIME56 Consulting LTD is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead its expansion efforts in the Ghanaian market. As a key player in the management and business development sector, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving sales operations, and cultivating strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across telecommunications, financial institutions, and government agencies. With your strategic expertise and passion for business growth, you will help build PRIME56’s presence in Ghana while delivering tailored solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional with a deep understanding of the local market to drive revenue growth and build long-term relationships that support business development. The position is highly competitive and offers a salary range of $24,000 to $48,000 per annum depending on your experience. Females are preferred to enhance gender balance within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan to penetrate the Ghanaian market and achieve organizational sales targets.
    • Identify, assess, and prioritize potential business opportunities within key industries such as telecommunications, financial services, and government sectors.
    • Utilize market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and optimize growth strategies.
  2. Client and Partner Relationships:
    • Establish and foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries.
    • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.
    • Leverage your network to create strategic partnerships that enhance the company’s ability to offer innovative and competitive solutions in the marketplace.
  3. Sales Process Management:
    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to deal negotiation and closure.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor services and products to client requirements, ensuring they align with the company’s business objectives.
    • Manage the entire sales pipeline, reporting on progress, obstacles, and achievements to senior management.
  4. Market Insights and Trend Analysis:
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth.
    • Utilize market insights to anticipate customer needs and position PRIME56 Consulting LTD’s services as the best solution in the market.
    • Proactively identify risks and opportunities within the market and take appropriate action to enhance the company’s competitive position.
  5. Revenue Growth and Negotiation:
    • Spearhead efforts to grow the company’s revenue by negotiating favorable contracts and ensuring profitable deals.
    • Meet and exceed revenue targets by continuously refining sales strategies and pursuing new business opportunities.
    • Maintain a results-oriented approach, ensuring that each business initiative positively impacts the company’s bottom line.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and IT, to ensure that client requirements are met and that the company’s solutions are delivered seamlessly.
    • Work closely with other departments to tailor solutions that address specific client needs and provide value-added services.
  7. Personal Identifiable Information (PII) Data Processor:
    • Design and implement IT processes that allow the data controller to collect and process personal data efficiently.
    • Develop security measures to protect personal data collected by the company.
    • Transfer PII data between the data controller and other organizations, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development and sales, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the software or tech-related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, negotiate contracts, and close deals in highly competitive markets.
  • Strong understanding of the Ghanaian market, with established networks and relationships, particularly in telecommunications, financial services, or government sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and articulate complex business solutions.
  • A strategic mindset, with strong analytical skills to identify market trends, assess risks, and develop actionable plans for business growth.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to align client needs with business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing networks in the telecommunications, financial, or government sectors will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Females are preferred for this role to support gender balance within the organization.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $24,000 – $48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Additional performance-based incentives may apply.
