Key Responsibilities
1. Cleaning and Hygiene Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, boys’ quarters, and bathrooms.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleaning, fumigation, pest management, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
2. Inventory Management
- Assist in receiving, organizing, and managing supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure stockouts of cleaning products and consumables are minimized.
3. Food Preparation Support
- Assist chefs and cooks during meal prep and service.
- Prepare basic ingredients such as chopping vegetables, measuring items, and preparing vinaigrettes or beverages.
4. Event Support
- Set up and reset dining areas for events, ensuring readiness and cleanliness.
5. Communication and Coordination
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors, HR, and vendors.
Growth Timeline
First Month
- Familiarize yourself with cleaning checklists, SOPs, and food safety procedures.
- Manage inventory and assist with basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Second Month
- Update checklists and assist with light food preparation.
- Begin handling vendor communication for repairs.
Third Month
- Engage in fumigation preparations and cleanup.
- Participate in food production planning and table setup for events.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Education: HND or SHS certificate (or equivalent).
- Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Twi is a plus).
- Ability to use cleaning products and equipment effectively.
Desired Skills
- Previous food handling training or certification.
- An interest in growing a career within Midunu.
- Positive attitude, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Reach, bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Salary
- Competitive pay between 800-1000 GHS, based on experience.
