3. Bank Reconciliation:
Reconciling the company’s bank statements with internal financial records is a key responsibility. This process involves reviewing bank statements, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that all transactions are accurately reflected in the company’s records. You will need to ensure that any differences between the two are investigated and resolved promptly to maintain accurate financial reporting.

This task requires analytical thinking and an understanding of the company’s business operations to create realistic and useful financial models.
5. Financial Support:
You will provide ongoing support to senior accounting staff in a variety of tasks, including helping with complex accounting issues, audits, and regulatory compliance. This will be a hands-on role where you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the financial workings of the business and help ensure that all accounting practices are followed properly.

8. Contribution to Internal Controls and Audits:
Your role may also involve working on internal controls and helping the company prepare for both internal and external audits. You will help ensure that the financial practices of the company are robust, transparent, and free from errors or fraud. This may involve working closely with external auditors to provide all necessary documentation and reports for a thorough review.
9. Communication with Other Departments:
You will serve as a key point of contact between the accounting department and other areas of the company. Strong communication skills will be essential as you will need to explain financial concepts to non-financial staff, helping them understand budget constraints, financial targets, and other essential financial matters. Collaboration with other departments will also be important to gather accurate financial data for reporting purposes.

You must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Your role will require you to apply these principles consistently across all financial operations to ensure accurate reporting.
